Stop guessing.
Start with the number.
Trace width, controlled impedance, and a real PCB price range — the calculations engineers actually run, built by a factory that runs them every day.
The bench
Three tools. No login wall.
Every calculator runs in your browser. No signup, no email gate to see the number — the email is only for the factory quote.
Trace width
IPC-2221 ampacity for internal and external layers, with resistance, voltage drop, and a design margin.
Calculate widthControlled impedance
Microstrip, stripline, differential pairs, and coplanar waveguide — plus the width that hits your target.
Match 50Ω Leads to a quotePCB price calculator
Fourteen specs, instant range, NRE and setup broken out. Then send the config to the factory in one click.

Why this bench is different
The formulas are public.
The factory limits behind them are not.
Most calculators stop at the equation. TraceBench is maintained by a board shop, so the numbers are checked against real stackups, real etch tolerances, and real price breaks.
Process-aware results
Warnings when a result falls below a standard 4/4 mil process, needs heavy-copper etching, or is impractical for a normal stackup.
Gerber stays on your device
The viewer reads files in the browser. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored. Use it on customer boards without an NDA conversation.
A number is not a lead wall
Every result is visible without an email. If you want the factory to price it, the quote form is right there — not blocking the answer.
From number to board
Calculate. Check. Quote.
Run the number
Pick the tool, enter the geometry, and read the result. Every assumption is printed under the calculator.
Check the edge cases
The warnings flag the results that look fine on paper but are expensive or unreliable to build.
Send it to the factory
One click puts the full configuration into a quote request. Upload a Gerber for a DFM review and a binding price.
Have a Gerber? Skip the typing.
Open the board in the browser viewer. It reads the size and layer count, then fills the price calculator for you.
